Valentine’s Day Wines for Every Relationship

February can only mean one thing. Tons of sugary messages about love. For singles, it can feel isolating. But love takes many forms, and so should your Valentine’s Day wine assortment.

As the movie says, Love Actually is all around, and as corny as it sounds, it is true. We only survive because of love in all its iterations. Family. Friendship. Chosen family. Long-term partners. Creative collaborators. And the relationship we have with ourselves.

Which is why JP handpicked this collection featuring rosé, sparkling wine, Grenache, Chardonnay, Syrah, and Cognac, with options for every type of wine shopper.

No one deserves it more!

Opposites Attract

RÉSIDENCE · Organic V.S.O.P. Cognac

Résidence Cognac is smooth, warm, and deeply layered; it is the perfect late-night bottle for couples, friends, and dreamers. Fruity and round, with spice, orchard fruit, juniper, orange blossom, bergamot, and angelica root, this Cognac has warmth, depth, and zero harsh bite. Much like the love story behind it.

The Slow Burn

DOMAINE DU CHÊNE VERT · Crozes-Hermitage Rouge (100% Syrah)

Love at first sight is a blast. The butterflies. The will they/won’t they chaos. It is fun, dramatic, and exhausting. This bottle is for what comes after. When they have been through some stuff. When the trust is real, and the roots are deep.

Chêne Vert’s old-vine Syrah brings grown-up energy. With violet, spice, silky tannins, and a long, refined finish, it is a wine for relationships that do not need drama to stay interesting. The ones built to last.

A beguiling fruit of the marriage of Chardonnay, Chenin Blanc, Mauzac, and Pinot Noir. This classic rosé shines a pale pink in color with silver highlights that hold subtle strawberry aromas, sweet fresh herbs, and a keen mountain stone mineral edge that pops thanks in part to the restrained 8g dosage. The palate is as pure as can be in its golden apple, salmonberry, dripping-ripe tropical fruit, and summery floral flavors, perfect to accompany appetizers, seared or grilled scallops, and chicken liver mousse on baguette. Best served and refreshed at 44-45° Fahrenheit. Certified Terra Vitis.

2022 Le Nid Mácon Villages

Blend: 100% Chardonnay

Pale golden color with green reflections. Aromas of citrus, white rose, and mineral notes. The palate shows both opulence and precision, with a straight structure lifted by mineral finesse. Hints of quince linger on the finish. Best enjoyed now or aged for 3–5 years.

Résidence V.S.O.P. Organic Cognac

Résidence Cognac is a contemporary vision of France’s most storied spirit. Made from organically farmed grapes and aged in French oak for a minimum of five years, this V.S.O.P. captures the spirit of craftsmanship and respect for nature that defines the house. It is an elegant balance of fruit and spice, rich in complexity yet remarkably smooth, offering an authentic and sustainable expression of Cognac’s finest terroirs.

Chêne Vert Crozes-Hermitage Rouge

Blend: 100% Syrah
Aging: 12 months in Burgundian barrels for added complexity

Domaine du Chêne Vert’s Crozes-Hermitage Rouge is a rich, intense red with a vibrant ruby color. It opens with sweet spices, and as it aerates, it reveals an elegant violet note. The palate is finely tannic, smooth, and fresh, with coated tannins and a beautiful length, without any heaviness. This wine will gain more complexity with a few years of aging. The winemaker recommends to pair it with a rib of beef from the AOC fin gras du Mézenc either with a caillette as an aperitif or with a Valrhona chocolate coulant heart.
