The inspiration for label design:

The idea came from JP and myself to make a wine and label for the relationship that we build. We are always joking around about the animals that surround us where we live, and I must say deer are much safer than bears 😅

The old basket press is from my great grandfather who bought it in 1936 and was the most high tech and the biggest press in the area at the time, the bucket at the bottom where the juice is flowing is representing the ocean that separates us. Two dudes exchanging passion and ideas for wine ergo WINE DUDES. And don’t say we look like Beavis and Butt-Head 😂

Wine Dudes, Skin Contact Pet-Nat

Blend: 100% Riesling

Two wine dudes sipping wine with the ocean between them came up with the idea to make an awesome easy drinking skin contact pet-nat. 

Delicate orange zest and cinnamon flavors combined with tropical fruits slowly move into the nutty, yeasty flavors to a round and deep finish. Rich and creamy texture as a result of skin contact and malolactic fermentation with wild bubbles on top of that make a perfect combination to pair with wild trout tartare, foie gras with fig jam, and of course, hard cheeses. 

Wine Dudes, Skin Contact White

Blend: 100% Riesling

Everything happens for a RIESLING and because of that these two wine dudes decided to go with the flow and let the riesling finish its fermentation with funky native yeast on the skins for 14 days. 

Wine was aged in stainless steel for 8 months to keep it crisp and fresh. 

This natty wine is a perfect porch sipper with some melon, cream cheese and crackers.
